The United Church of Christ has joined nine other Christian denominations and organizations in a March 10th letter sent to President Biden and members of Congress. Their appeal is urgent and emphatic: "the US must end its military support of Israel." Why? "Israeli actions on the ground have created a reality based on inequality and discrimination." Their letter cites the several human rights reports documenting that Israel's policies and practices "meet the international legal definition of the crime of apartheid."
