This October will mark two years since Israel launched its ongoing genocidal assault on Gaza, relentlessly bombarding, starving, and isolating over two million Palestinians. This is not a distant crisis. It is a U.S.-funded, U.S.-enabled catastrophe. That’s why this year’s Palestine Advocacy Days are taking place from October 19-21 in Washington, D.C., with a clear focus on one message: Fighting U.S. Complicity.
Even as our own democracy hangs by a thread, with the rise of authoritarianism, political violence, and the erosion of civil rights, the U.S. refuses to course-correct. Instead, it doubles down: shielding Israel from international accountability, sending billions in weapons, and justifying war crimes in the name of a “shared democracy” that doesn’t really exist, all while the rest of the world moves towards demanding accountability and condemning Israel.
